All our products are carefully crafted in-house at our headquarters in Kallithea, Athens. This allows us to maintain full control over the production process and ensure that every step aligns with our requirements. Our commitment to sustainability extends to our local production, which plays a crucial role in fostering ethical conditions. By producing locally, we minimize energy consumption and actively work towards reducing material waste.

Working Conditions and Manufacturing
We strongly believe that happy hands create exceptional products, and happy hands come from happy people. Our working environment is characterized by team spirit, respect, safety, understanding, love for the brand and creativity. At Lommer, we value the well-being and satisfaction of our team members, as we believe that their dedication and passion shine through in every product we create. We embrace a positive and collaborative work culture, and we are proud to have a highly motivated Lommer Team that embodies these values.
By focusing on transparency and prioritizing the well-being of our team members, we strive to create products that not only meet our customers’ needs but also contribute to a more sustainable and socially conscious future.
For transportation within Greece, we collaborate with WE BOX IT courier. It is the first Greek green courier that uses electric trucks from day one, in their attempt to reduce pollutants. Deeply respecting the environment and under the influence of the climate change phenomenon, the courier company provides services leading to the reduction of the dependence on fossil fuels and they offer the possibility of safe and contactless transactions.
For worldwide shipments we collaborate with ELTA Hellenic Post. Going along with the latest developments and needs about the environmental crisis, ELTA shared interest about the ESG factors and how the companies can adopt these factors. Environment, Society and Government are in the center of the company’s interest and research as they dream about a sustainable future.
WASTE CONSCIOUS & PACKAGING
Minimizing Material Waste
Lommer places great emphasis on minimising material waste throughout our production process. When our materials arrive in large sheets, we utilize our metallic molds to cut them into the desired shapes for our products. We carefully gather the leftover or smaller material pieces generated during this process. These remnants are then repurposed to create smaller pieces such as EvaMini, our wallet-sized handbag. By doing so, we not only reduce waste but also embrace circularity within our manufacturing environment. This approach protects the environment and promotes a more sustainable use of resources.
Make to Order and Stock Circumstances
As a slow fashion brand, Lommer follows a “Make to Order” approach. We prioritize creating products based on customer orders, rather than producing excess stock. This enables us to maintain control over our warehouse and eliminates the need for unnecessary energy consumption or additional materials. We consciously abstain from participating in large sales events like Black Friday, where the overproduction of goods often leads to unsold inventory. Instead, we focus on sustainable production and do not contribute to excessive sales periods.
Our dedication to reducing material waste and avoiding overproduction aligns with our goal of creating timeless, unique designs while minimizing our environmental impact.
At Lommer, we are committed to sustainable packaging practices. Every smaller product is thoughtfully packaged in specially designed paper packaging. Our paper packaging is made from 100% recycled materials, promoting resource conservation and waste reduction. The plastic piece included in the packaging is recyclable and produced locally in Greece, ensuring a lower carbon footprint.
Our packaging not only protects your purchase but also provides essential product information, including characteristics, material details, and care instructions. We believe in empowering our customers with all the necessary knowledge about their Lommer products.
For larger bags, we utilize fabric packaging made from cotton fabric, also sourced from Greek producer. This fabric packaging serves a dual purpose, as it can be used also as a separate bag. By encouraging reuse, we aim to minimize waste and promote circularity in our products’ lifecycle.
Our eco-friendly packaging choices align with our commitment to sustainability and enable our customers to play an active role in reducing their environmental impact.
